Feeling insanely fortunate, for @cbssct–the human who knows and loves me better than all 7 or so billion of you–said “I do” seven years ago today.

• After Class Is Over: Andy Matuschak gives you a very kindly-put kick in the pants to keep learning.
• Goddamnit, Carl Sagan…: Yep. Pretty much.
• The Nurbs-Fabrication Complex: Gets to my basic irritability about “emergent” designs from Eisenman on forward: picking the computational constants, choosing the rules of the system and/or selecting the teachings of a particular French structuralist to wilfully and inappropriately misinterpret and apply is still picking, choosing and selecting according to some criteria, therefore designing.
