Much pfaffing with D3.js lately for some internal data tracking projects. Big thumbs up.

• Sandi Metz’s Four Rules - Good starting rules and a meditation on what we mean by “rules.”
• Xcode gem - Ruby/Rake plumbing to automating your Xcode builds. I’ve built about 12% of this and badly (h/t @olebegemann).
• Why We Should Build Software Like We Build Houses - It feels sketchy taking exception to Leslie (Leslie effing Lamport!) Lamport’s opinion, but he clearly has not spent much time in architecture. (“Well, that’s funny, because I happen to have Marshall McLuhan right here.”) Why won’t this flawed analogy die?
